South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital

Can't say enough good things about South Cherokee, Dr. Hone, and the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with warmth and professionalism. The staff is friendly, compassionate, and truly cares about the animals they treat. We were looking for a new veterinarian to take our new puppy to and we have found it. Highly recommended South Cherokee.

When searching for a veterinary Dr. for our 2 month old Cock-a-poo CoCo. We wanted to make sure we picked a place that was caring and loving and WE DID. We highly recommend South Cherokee Veterinary. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, the receptionist was very pleasant and caring. Dr. Hone was amazing. We are extremely happy we chose South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital 🫶🐶💖

I spent over 25 years managing client services at veterinary practices, so exceptional service is a priority for me. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and courteous, friendly, and willing to answer questions. The technical staff are great! They are calm and gentle with my pets and happy to answer questions. Dr. Grasso is extraordinary! He is very thorough, takes time to explain things, and is very gentle with my pets. He presents treatment options clearly and is very personable, making me feel comfortable enough to ask questions. Great vet practice !!!

UPDATE: I would like to clarify that it was Dr. Beck (as seen in the first picture below) that gave our Yorkies, Patrick and Teddy, the very best of care. However, I see that he is no longer at SCVH. We have seen Dr. Grasso several times, and we saw Dr. Hone most recently. So far, our experiences with them has been positive. I am hopeful they can continue the level of excellence that we experienced with Dr. Beck over the past 20 years. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We love South Cherokee Vet! They always took excellent care of our first Yorkie, Patrick, and they are providing that same level of quality care for our current Yorkie, Teddy. From his annual exam with vaccinations to procedures (neuter, microchip implantation, and cancerous cyst removal) to his frequent allergy injections and everything in between, the quality of care he receives at South Cherokee is top notch! I would never take him anywhere else. Added Bonus: I especially love the convenience of the new PetDesk portal. It makes scheduling appointments, getting test results, and asking questions a breeze!

Unfortunately my last visit to south Cherokee animal hospital was to have my sweet cat, Gibbs, euthanized. The doctor was kind and carefully explained the process. This was not my first euthanasia but I appreciated his kindness. I was given plenty of time to say goodbye and was not rushed in any way.
